About Dr. Ekpete
Dr. Biyebelemo Ekpete is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. She is committed to providing her patients with comprehensive and compassionate care.
Dr. Ekpete earned her medical degree from ATSU-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, and her fellowship in cardiology at Medical City in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Ekpete has a wealth of experience treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, shortness of breath, heart attacks, heart failure, palpitations, and chest pain. She is also passionate about cardiovascular disease prevention, and she works with her patients to develop individualized plans to reduce their risk of developing heart disease.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ekpete is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in cardiovascular care, and she is always looking for ways to improve the quality of care she provides to her patients.
In her leisure time, Dr. Ekpete has a passion for exploring new places and experiencing diverse cultures. Traveling allows her to rejuvenate and brings a fresh perspective to her approach towards patient care. She believes that understanding different lifestyles and environments contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of health.
Dr. Ekpete values the importance of family and cherishes moments spent with her loved ones. This family-centric lifestyle not only provides her with emotional support but also shapes her empathetic approach in understanding the concerns and priorities of her patients.
